Guac Filled Eggs & Mini Taco Salad Bowls
It's a well known fact that I adore avocados. I have a Pinterest board dedicated to it, people! My loyalty runs deep. As deep as my stomach.
As we near Cinco de Mayo, I thought I'd share these two recent nuggets of "oh that's good" in case you are going to be having a shindig at your house in celebration. If these don't set off your party, you need to get new friends.
I wanted to do something lighter this time around. The Frog Princess is all about being "healfy" and so, I decided to go with guacamole deviled eggs and soft shell taco salads featuring these great Old El Paso Stand 'n Stuff tortillas.

I usually have a little more guac left over which is perfect because you can then add that to the salad bowls. Win, win, I say!

Now that we have the food in order, here are a few of fun tips for your party!
Personalized Drinkware: I got beer and wine glasses for my birthday dinner as well as some chalkboard labels. It was a great and easy way to provide my guests with something that they could easily identify during the party. The glasses also made a great parting gift.
Footwear: I have carpet in my house and generally have shoes off at the door. I got this idea when I went to a fabulous friend's party last fall. A basket of socks greeted us at the front door and each of us got to pick a pair to wear during the party and those comfy fuzzy socks went home with each one of us.
