#IDelightIn10 With 2 Ingredient Ice Cream
Disclosure: I am an International Delight ambassador. All thoughts, opinions and yummy creativity are purely my own. I'd love it if summer was filled with the calm and leisure of movies. Don't you? If so, I'd be typing this from a house by the beach while the housekeeper did the laundry and tended to the meals. Alas, that is not the case.
Instead, there's a basket of clean laundry in my room and there may or may not be a bag in the garage with the remnants of my last beach trip (sand included).
The Frog Princess is home from summer camp and spends leisure time lounging and then grumbling that I make her do work after she proclaims boredom (she has since stopped using the word bored fearing repercussions of the written word kind).
This means that I need to be ready with snacks at a moment's notice. And y'all, it's hard. I work a full-time at home and while I have a few hours of babysitting, her need to be fed every day can bring on stress.
And so, the other day I stumbled upon a lovely little snack that keep her happy and keeps me (somewhat) sane. I call it 2 ingredient ice cream.
Now, there is prep work for this recipe. It requires you to buy bananas and then throw them into the freezer. Be sure to peel them first. Oh! And go ahead and cut them up as well. I didn't cut them up the first time and found myself doing battle with a frozen banana as I tried to cut it into smaller pieces. Learn from my mistakes, good people!
And of course, the always yummy International Delight Caramel Macchiato. I think this is probably my favorite of them all (I can't be held responsible if I change my mind when the fall comes. Don't judge me!).
After that, there's no prep time. It took me like 10 minutes to make which left me open to sitting down during my my break and chillaxing while I fought shared some frozen bananas with the Frog Princess. It's not the beach but maaan, it's something. And the Frog Princess thought she was getting a special treat when it was just a yummified banana. I win!
