Savor the Savings

Disclosure: Presented by Mami Innovative Media, this is a sponsored post on behalf of Sears and KitchenAid. All opinions expressed here are my own. I found a treasure in my garage. For the record, I kinda knew it was there but I had blocked it from my memory AND I thought my dad may have taken it with him to his "I don't really want to be here but here I am" second home.

It's. A. Kitchen. Aid. Mixer. This post is not only gonna give you some great insight but it is also a test to see if my sister reads my blog since she laid claim to this thing of beauty several years ago. And never took it with her.

Now, I'm not a baker. But I play one on TV. And I can't possibly play to a pretend audience without one of these in my kitchen. I mean, really people!

Though I think baking is for neurotic folk (as opposed to anal retentive folk which I totally qualify as), I do love making pumpkin bread. I love it so much that I actually promised some folks in Seattle that I would fly (how many miles is that?) with homemade pumpkin muffins on an airplane with hungry people. Yes, I will totally be breaking out the beast. That's what I'm calling it. It's navy blue so, the blue beast seems like a good name.

And while I won't be bringing YOU any of those delicious pumpkin muffins per se, fall is bringing a new treat to savor. It’s sweet, crave worthy and doesn't involve calories. Can you guess what it is? It’s the KitchenAid® Savor the Savings Event. You’ll get up to a $1000 prepaid card via mail when you purchase select KitchenAid® major appliances.

This savory deal couldn't come at a better time. Just before the holidays and the season where you fight your younger sister for an appliance neither one of you remembered was there.

After all, I don't want my Kitchen Aid® fridge to be lonely, right? Also, I may or may not need a new filter for said fridge. Oh and did I mention I have been without a dishwasher since 2011. Because I have. Seems like I'm well on my way to finishing up my shopping list already.

What appliance is on your must-have list and are you planning on picking it up for the holidays? More importantly, what will you get me with your prepaid card?
