Yucateco Habanero Steak Salad {#SauceOn}

And yet, I skip lunch often. I know this isn't good but, I am guilty of it. In an effort to make sure I am not skipping lunch, I've been having loads of yummy salads. Why? Salads are easy and it doesn't take me a lot of thinking and preparing. As I've indulged in my creative salad-making, I decided to give it a little twist. A flavorful and bold one. So I put my thinking cap on to figure out what I could make with habanero.

So, off I went to Publix with my list! PS: why do I always end up getting sucked into the BOGO sales and feeling mighty proud to have strayed from my list? The frog princess was with me and I enlisted her in helping me find my secret ingredient! El Yucateco Red Habanero Sauce.

So...um...I couldn't help myself and bought all three! I got the last of the XXXtra Hot Kutbil-ik Sauce. Yassss! It is time to get my #SauceOn, people.

The resulting dish was...superb! I'm calling it my Yucateco Habanero Steak Salad. I loved that the steak was filled with flavor with a kick on the back end. It wasn't spicy (for those of you that are afraid of a little heat). But the bold taste made me feel like I was eating an entire meal as opposed to have a plain ol' salad.

 It was easy peasy lemon squeezy and I had a hearty salad that allowed me to check "lunch" off the list and feel good about what I had eaten.
