Back to School With Macy's

Mami would shop for me. She'd head to the mall and bring back bags with that red star on them. Macy's was her preferred store and now, in a way, it's become mine.

While the Frog Princess wears uniforms for school, she still needs clothes to make it through the school year. Now it's my turn to head out and come home with the spoils of the shop.

On Sunday, August 23 you can join Macy's at the Florida Mall at 2 p.m. for an afternoon of crafts and activities including Disney Princess and Star Wars coloring books (I may or may not be at the coloring book station. Don't judge me!). The kids can make their own princess crown and even pose for a picture in the Disney Princess and Star Wars-themed photo booths. How cool is that?

Oh and rumor has it a certain Daniel Skye will be there. If you don't know who that is, just ask your girls, they will.

I have to pick up a few things including what I call "uniform accessories". This includes tights and long sleeved shirts that she can wear under her uniform when the weather gets cooler. I also like to get her little cardigans and hoodies. With the Florida weather the way it is, it can be in the high 50's in the morning and 70's in the afternoon so it's nice to have a good selection of items to layer.

Here are some pieces that I would like to add to the girl's wardrobe.

The cardigan looks totally adorable and would go great with her uniform. I'm in love with the jean dress and wonder if they have this in my size? Also, that plaid dress is everything! Yes, I'll be hunting for a similar dress for myself. The leggings are perfect for her to wear both when it gets cool under her uniform and also after school and on the weekends. Favorite characters at a little more personality to those so yes, we have Anna and Elsa and of course, Minnie. She loves leggings and tunics so that adorable flower tunic is going to make her fashion heart happy.
