Back to School With Microsoft Office

Last spring I told you about the love I felt for OneNote. As the time has gone by, I have now expanded that to the entire Microsoft Office Suite.

I can honestly say that I don't know if these last few months would've gone as smoothly with my assignments if I hadn't had Microsoft Office. Throughout my first 2 terms,  I relied heavily on Office 2011 for Mac on iMami and as of a week ago, I now rely solely on Office 2010 on zenMami, my Asus ultrabook that I fell in love with during the Microsoft Store opening in Orlando.

Currently, I'm enrolled in the MBA program at Southern New Hampshire University. Everything I do is online! I not only use the Microsoft Office tools to make sure that I have my assignments and discussion topics saved in a safe place (I learned after having lost a discussion item when I simply typed it up in the Blackboard discussion thread to write everything up in Word first!) but I also use SkyDrive to keep all of my documents in one place where I can get to them whenever I need to.

And let me tell you with switching computers, that has been major! All of my papers and assignments are on SkyDrive as well as my detailed notes from my readings, references and citations in OneNote.  This is probably the easiest transition I've had because I am not stressing about where my documents and images are.

However, my "education" goes beyond the classroom. I use these tools for blogging. From creating great presentations when I'm working on a pitch for a brand to sharing documents about campaigns with my Central Florida Latinas through SkyDrive. The possibilities are endless! And, don't get me started with Windows Live Writer because that's definitely another story for another day.

Are your kids in school and looking for a tool to keep them organized and on top of their schoolwork? Or maybe you're like me, headed back to school because hey, you don't already have enough on your plate. Whatever your situation, I am here to tell ya, Microsoft Office is definitely worth a try.

And in case you just can't purchase one at the moment, that's okay. Check out the Rafflecopter below and enter to win your very own Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010.
