Have You Ever Flipped?

Have you ever flipped on love? Do you remember your first crush? Next week marks the release of Flipped on DVD. I will admit I have not seen the movie but I will tell you, I LOVE this book. It's been a few years since I read it but I still remember all the buzz around the office for this book. First, the cover was adorable (and anyone who tells you to not judge a book by its cover has never worked in the book industry!). And second, the story got right to your heart because we all know at least one side of what this feels like. I was excited when I heard this was going to be a movie and bummed when, in all of the madness of this first year of mamihood, I missed it in theaters.

A Look Back: 36 Weeks...

I realize now why some prisoners commit crimes shortly after leaving prison in hopes to be put back in (well, kinda). At 36 weeks and 1 day, I was allowed to finally leave the prison that was my bed. Although truth be told by that stage, I didn't want to. Well, I did but I was so tired most of the time that I wanted to run and do what I had to and then jump back into the bed.
