Yes, I know I'm late and it may seem to you like I am not starting the year off right. Well, maybe you're right but, so what? Are you sticking to your resolutions (I'm not talking to the goodie goodie two shoes that are! ;-)

The holidays are nuts sometimes and we forget what's important. I don't have the luxury of forgetting that...

This is my last entry in the journal before I went into labor. I am feeling very mushy this night as I think that a year ago today, I was full of life and ready to burst...

Mushy month continues. Today, this came in handy because it reminded me of a few things that I tend to forget when I get wound up in the details of life...

This year I am most thankful for my family. This includes my friends. The people that love me without judgement, that stand by me without question and that are loyal to me without doubt.

I am thankful for so much this year that one blog isn't going to hold it all in. First up, my cyber sisterfriends (this probably means you!).

Have you ever flipped on love? Do you remember your first crush? Next week marks the release of Flipped on DVD. I will admit I have not seen the movie but I will tell you, I LOVE this book. It's been a few years since I read it but I still remember all the buzz around the office for this book. First, the cover was adorable (and anyone who tells you to not judge a book by its cover has never worked in the book industry!). And second, the story got right to your heart because we all know at least one side of what this feels like. I was excited when I heard this was going to be a movie and bummed when, in all of the madness of this first year of mamihood, I missed it in theaters.

The quest to get my swagger back begins. Up first, shoes...

I realize now why some prisoners commit crimes shortly after leaving prison in hopes to be put back in (well, kinda). At 36 weeks and 1 day, I was allowed to finally leave the prison that was my bed. Although truth be told by that stage, I didn't want to. Well, I did but I was so tired most of the time that I wanted to run and do what I had to and then jump back into the bed.
